Do you generally rush out of bed in the morning hurrying through your morning without any real conscious thought except for what you have to do to get ready for your day? Do you wake up with anxiety? Upon awakening, is your brain flooded with negativity or a rush of negative adrenaline thinking about all that you have to do that day?
Whether you need to be energized or calm/relaxing energy, start your day off in a positive way.
Positively energizing
- Positive, energizing word written on a sticky note placed on your bedside table or bathroom mirror.
- An affirmation that you’ve written or that someone else has written on a sticky note placed on your bedside table or bathroom mirror.
Calming & relaxing
- A few deep breaths in through your nose and out through your mouth.
- Start at your head and run through your major muscle groups relaxing each one as you go along.
For most of you this will be different. It will set the stage for your day so that you either gain the positive energy that you need or relax some morning tension. You will start your day of mindful, better aligned and with an ability to think more clearly and more positively. Your body and mind will have the energy it to react and respond to whatever comes up.
