Bored of Your Workout Routine?

Jennica 8-29Change it up and try something new! The majority of us fall into a routine exercise regiment. We tend to stick with it like clockwork whether it is a daily run, walk, or class at the gym. The truth is, after the same repetitive routine, your body grows accustom to the workout and you begin to get less benefit from all your hard work – both physically and mentally. Additionally, cross training (challenging your body to different types of exercises) works wonders on preventing overuse injuries. It also works to hit different muscle groups you may have forgotten existed. So, if you are getting bored with your same monotonous workout habits, try challenging yourself to a new workout that may seem a little risky. You never know, you might discover a new passion.
