On Saturday, in my first of many webinars, I unveiled my 3 secret ingredients to getting what you want: vision, intuition and acceptance. In all the work I’ve done with clients these three secret ingredients have helped a variety of people struggling with core barriers to getting what they want: doubt, fear, confidence and anxiety.

Vision: you can’t get there, until you know where there is! What do you (realistically) want? First visualize it (i.e. you in the job you want). See it. Feel it. Taste it. Smell it. Hear it. Write it down.

Intuition: knowing something without being able to explain how you came to that conclusion rationally. It’s that mysterious gut feeling or instinct that often turns out to be right, in retrospect. When you’ve whittled down your options and are stuck at a crossroads, getting in touch with your intuition can help. Learning how to separate out your intuition can be developed.

Acceptance: the act of accepting or the state of being accepted or acceptable.

Why these 3 things?

  1. Vision-is something you create. It’s in your control. Being in control helps to motivate and builds confidence.
  2. Intuition-learning to listen to your heart & soul. Learning to tap into your intuition allows you to do what is true to you.
  3. Acceptance-you don’t have to change anything, you learn to accept yourself and things as they are. What a relief!
